Police has issued another citation to two bars in Koror for serving alcohol after 2 am.
Patrol Division Chief Ismael Aguon said that the bars were cited early Saturday and early Sunday morning.The citation was issued to the establishments after police officers caught them serving alcohol to the customers after 2 am.Aguon said the owners of these bars will be fined for violating the law.Aguon said the bars that were cited for non compliance of the law have received one citation so far.Aguon said if the establishments receive a total of three citations in a year, their license will be suspended.Last week three bars were cited for the same violations during a routine inspection of all cabarets, bars and restaurants.House Bill No. 7-172-29S, HD2, SD2, CD1 and PD1 prohibits the establishments from selling alcohol after 2 am.The law which took effect on July 10, 2008 requires all cabarets, bars and restaurants to close at 2 am.
