Patrol Division Chief Ismael Aguon said that the operator of the boat and a passenger were both injured when two boats collided, Sunday afternoon at the channel by the Coral Reef Center.
Aguon said that only the operator was brought to the hospital for treatment. The passenger who sustained minor injuries refused to be treated in the hospital.Police report indicated that a boat was heading towards Malakal when it collided to the other boat which was transporting three passengers at that time.The boat with passengers was heading towards the Coral Reef Center.The incident was reported to the police at 2:08 pm on Sunday.Aguon said the incident is still under investigation.
