Sgt. Michael Rafael of the Patrol Division said that the driver of a vehicle that hit another vehicle and the driver of a vehicle that was hit were both cited for violations after an auto collision incident.
Sgt. Rafael said that Huisha Li was cited for negligent driving while Albert Shiro was cited for illegal parking.The incident was reported to the police on May 29 at 8:29 pm in front of J’s outlet in Topside.Li was on his way to Topside when he hit Shiro’s car which was parked on the side walk in front of the J’s outlet store.Two women and a juvenile were also cited for negligent.Zenaida Tan was cited after her car hit another car while reversing in front of Mingles restaurant Friday afternoon.Cathy Kloulubak, 42 was also cited with negligent driving after the vehicle she was driving run off the road and collided to a rail next to a fish pond in Airai.Kloulubak was also cited for driving a vehicle without a license.The juvenile was cited for negligent and driving a vehicle without a license when she entered a wrong lane and hit another car at the intersection of Meyuns.Two other traffic incidents were also reported to the police and are now under investigation.Sgt. Rafael said a hit and run incident was reported on May 30 in Madelaii where an SUV was hit by a sedan.The sedan fled from the scene.The other incident happened in front of Quick Mart at Topside where a vehicle tried to make a left turn when hit by another car.
