2 U.S. vessel to call port

According to a statement from the United States Embassy Merchant vessels Wheeler and Fast Tempo are scheduled to arrive this week for a six-day liberty call.The MV Wheeler is a new off-shore petroleum distribution system that can pump fuel to shore from a tanker anchored up to eight miles off the coast.The MV Wheeler operates with the assistance of its own tender vessel the MV Fast Tempo.MV Wheeler is part of the maritime pre positioning ship squadron three, a component of the U.S. Navy’s Military Sealift Command, operating the Pacific Region.The two vessels are civilian crewed ships.
