Charged were Kramer Brell, Melusech Masang and Secheangel Mteulechol.
Brell was charged with two counts of aggravated assault and two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Masang was charged with assault and battery while Mteulechol was charged with malicious mischief.
The three defendants were all summoned in court yesterday afternoon to face their charges.
The affidavit filed in court stated that Brell attacked a man with a baton and hit his head with a brick on August 23, 2009.
The affidavit stated that Masang punched the same victim in the head and stomach.
The court document stated that the victim was aboard a van driven by a female friend and were in Idid to drop off some friend when attacked by the defendants.
The van parked in front of a residence in Idid to drop off a passenger who was supposed to change her clothes and go back to the van afterwards.
While the victim and the other friends were waiting for their companion, Mteulechol threw a rock at the van hitting the rear windshield.
The windshield was broken causing the victim and the other friends to exit from the van.
The victim was suddenly attacked by Brell and Masang. However he managed to escape from them and run back to the van where he was immediately transported to the hospital for treatment.
