(GCA) — Grace Christian Academy would like to congratulate four of its students on receiving national recognition.
Soleil Lamar, GCA senior, has been named a National Merit Scholarship semi-finalist.
The semi-finalists are academically talented high school seniors who now have an opportunity to continue in the competition for approximately 7,250 National Merit Scholarships next spring. The national pool of semi-finalists, representing less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors, includes the highest-scoring entrants in each state/territory.
Grace Christian Academy would also like to congratulate Katriel Saures, Hannah Tenorio, and Susana Villagomez for being selected in the College Board Recognition Program as National Indigenous Awardees. These students earned this recognition because of their academic achievements in school and outstanding performance on the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
