Melekeok Delegate Lencer Basilius said that he is encouraging students and take initiative by continuing their education.
Applying for scholarship program with the Japan Embassy were Santini, Medrang, Courtney, Tanya and Ibo.“I am encouraging more students to apply and take the opportunity ,” Basilius said.He said that under the scholarship program the students will have the chance to continue on with their studies in Japan.He stressed the importance of education and that the scholarships being offered not only from Japan but other countries as well will open doors for Palauans.He said more students from Melekeok will be applying for scholarship opportunities.
