THE Marianas Institute of Filipino Certified Public Accountants and Accountants, or MIFICPA, on Saturday, April 9, inducted its newly elected officers.
The newly inducted officers include Marvin Buston, president; Ronnel Calma, vice president internal; Edzkestler Doreza, vice president external; Renelyn Gallos, secretary; Ruth Torrecampo, assistant secretary; Ian June Obnimaga, treasurer; Madonna Paleracio, assistant treasurer; Edwin Garcia, auditor; Catalina Benedicto, assistant auditor; Josefina Diokno, business manager and Mari Louise De Guzman, public relations officer.
Buston has been an employee of HBR International Inc. since 2010, and is known for his professional development as an accountant involved in various extracurricular activities.
The board of directors is composed of Noemi Catigan, Alili Cabsaban, Maria Luisa Fernando, Marjorie Ajoste, Gemma Eugenio, Eloisa Manese, and Elisa Dela Pacion.
The guests at the induction ceremony included MIFICPA founding president Ignacio Banadera Jr., as well as previous presidents Maria Gloria Balila, Nolito Santos, Butch Ordas, Maria Rosario dela Torre, and Wilfredo Ching.
Board member Luisa Fernando led the members and their guests in an opening prayer, followed by opening remarks by founding president Ignacio Banadera Jr.
Triple J Enterprises Inc. vice president Mike Sablan, who inducted the new officers, delivered an inspiring and congratulatory message, touching on professional career development, ethics and doing things right, and expanding MIFICPA’s involvement in the community.
The ceremony, which was held at Rendezvous International Cuisine, also served as an acknowledgement and recognition of the hard work, dedication, and achievements of the 2020-2022 officers led by current board member Eloisa Manese.
