HAGÅTÑA (The Guam Daily Post) — A local conservation officer completed an instructor training program through the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center.
Chana Thol, a conservation officer with the Law Enforcement Section’s Civilian Volunteer Conservation Program, graduated in August from an instructor training program, the Department of Agriculture announced in a press release issued Sept. 15.
The Law Enforcement Control Tactics Instructor Program was conducted at the Delaware Technical Community College with cadre from the Wilmington Police Department in Delaware.
Thol attended the program from Aug. 15 to Aug. 25, said Conservation Officer Richard Ragadio, who added the program “is a physically demanding and intensive training program.”
“The program provides instruction on techniques used in controlling compliant and noncompliant suspects, weapon recovery, arrest techniques, control tactics, edged weapons and intermediate weapons,” Ragadio told The Guam Daily Post.
