ALLY Hong is Hyatt Regency Saipan’s new director of rooms. With 22 years of experience in the hospitality industry, she joined the team last month.
The seasoned hotelier is responsible for improving Hyatt’s room services, monitoring revenue and providing excellent guest experience from the moment a guest makes the booking to checking out and beyond.
Hong has a degree in business administration, European and international area studies. She started her hospitality career in 2001 as a housekeeping order taker and room inspector at Lotte Hotel Ulsan in South Korea.
Two years later, she started her career with Hyatt and was the shift leader for guest services and reservations at Hyatt Regency Incheon in South Korea. From 2007 to 2019, she was with the Marriott Executive Apartments in Seoul and Sheraton Incheon.
Hong served as front office manager, executive housekeeper, and executive director of revenue strategy.
She returned to the Hyatt family as housekeeping manager at Grand Hyatt Seoul in South Korea in 2019 and became director of rooms in 2021.
She is excited to work on Saipan and is ready to boost further Hyatt Regency Saipan in meeting guest needs and expectations from a Hyatt brand. Say “hafa adai” to her on your next visit to the Hyatt.
