DUE to a significant surge in Covid-19 cases in the CNMI, the Red Cross is postponing its upcoming Gala fundraising dinner. “Ensuring the health, safety and well-being of our volunteers, donors and Gala guests is our top priority” said Mable Glenn, NMI chapter board chair. “While the future is unknown, the NMI gala committee has decided, based on Covid task force data, that a delay in the gala will help reduce the possible exposure to Covid,” said Glenn. The new Gala date is Saturday, April 23, at Kensington Hotel. The Red Cross is grateful for the community’s support and apologizes for the delay.
