At the SelectUSA Investment Summit in National Harbor, Maryland, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo greets CNMI Gov. Arnold I. Palacios before a roundtable discussion during which Palacios highlighted the investment opportunities in the Commonwealth. Organized by the U.S. Department of Commerce to invite foreign direct investment in the U.S. and its territories, this year’s summit drew more than 1,200 business investors with representation from over 70 international markets. This year was also the first time that all five insular area governors attended and presented investment opportunities in the territories.
