The equipments were handed to the Bureau of Public Safety Director Norbert Yano on Monday.
The equipments are vital for crime scene investigation and will help the officers enhance their skills in solving the crimes.The equipments were donated to the CID after Detective Willy Mays Towai completed his finger print and forensic training in Vanuatu last June 27 through July 17.The equipments include a Nikkon camera worth $17,000, finger print ink pad, evidence collection kit and examination gloves and police line ribbon and evidence report envelopes.CIS thanked the Australian Federal Police for the equipments.
