Basilius impressed the judges with her flower arranging skills, for her winning entry she won $100.
Peggy Hanser was awarded the 2nd prize, winning $75 cash prize and 3rd prize went to Palau Pacific Resort florists Mary Rose and Lorry Ann.There were a total of nine entries including Julie Jiro, Rose Ongalibang, Hiroko Kishigawa Harlene Omelau and Zamira Lim. The judges were First Lady Valeria Toribiong, Ambassador of Taiwan Maggie Tien, Minister of State, Sandra Pierantozzi, Mrs. Akiko Takashima (wife of Japan Charge’d Affaires) and Mrs. Christina Salii (Member, BTA Board of Directors).BTA, said that all arrangements (entries) went on silent auction and all sold.BTA is thanking sponsors/ donations: Palau Pacific Resort, Rose Garden Resort, Fish n’ Fins, CARP, Palau Visitors Authority, Planet Blue Sea Kayak Tours, Sandra Pierantozzi, Belau National Museum, Rudimch Enterprises, Omung Association, Eric Carlsen and PCC Tourism Club.
