Bayani Association donates wheelchairs to CHCC

ON Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2023, the Bayani Association donated five  wheelchairs to the hemodialysis center of the Commonwealth Healthcare Corp.

Receiving the donation were CHCC Chief Executive Officer Ester Muna, nephrologist Dr. Maksy Magdy, Director of Dialysis Services Nikki Villagomez and Miles Deleon Guerrero.

Bayani is also hosting the Gandang Pinay beauty pageant this Saturday, Feb. 11, 2023 at Saipan World Resort.  Thirteen candidates are vying for the title of Gandang Pinay 2023, and tickets have been sold out since last month.

“All of us are excited about the event and grateful that we were able to donate  wheelchairs to CHCC,” Bayani Association President Annamae Adaza said.

“Our 13 candidates and their supportive parents are trying their best to sell charity tickets to help us raise funds,” she added.

After the pageant, she said they will make a donation to five pediatric cancer patients at the National Children’s Hospital in the Philippines who are in dire need of financial assistance.

“We are so grateful to our major sponsors, the House of Beautiful Creation by Bench Legaspi, TSL Foundation, IT&E, and our other donors,” Pageant Director Ernie Molina said.

Founded in 2001, the Bayani Association is a non-profit organization that aims to help the community through projects.
