Based on the report, more than $200 in cash was carted away by unidentified suspects after they entered the store. Suspects broke into the store and took away the money inside the cash register and fled immediately.
Meanwhile, Kerngokl Ngiralmau, female, adult Palauan called the police and reported that her house in Aimeliik State was broken into by unknown suspects and stole several items. These include old antique Japanese bell, antique lamp, five pieces of Palauan pickaxe, base and more than 30 toluk (Palauan money).
The case is still under police investigation.
In other news, a throwing net worth $300 was reportedly missing after it was stolen by a still unidentified suspect.
The net was owned by Toshi Baules of Ngerusar, Airai State.
Based on his police statement, he left for Philippines on June 11 and when he returned home on July 12 he discovered that his throwing net inside his bedroom was missing.
In another news, Imelda Nakamura, female-Palauan also called and reported to the police that her laptop was taken by a certain Weldon Gideon.
According to the complaint, she gave her silver laptop to Gideon to upgrade it a couple of months ago but until now the suspect failed to give it back to her. When Nakamura asked Gibeon he told to the complainant that he gave it to someone else.
The laptop is worth $1,100. The case is still under investigation.
A case of cheating and grand larceny are now being prepared against the suspect.
