Aguon urge everyone to notify police of any unsafe road conditions so that police could mark them to warn the public.BPS in a separate announcement stated that multiple landslides have occurred along the Compact Road in both the West and the East as a result of heavy rains.Motorist traveling on the either roads are urged to exercise caution.BPS said Public Works Road crew is working on clearing the roads.The largest of the mudslide occurred on the west (Kiukl) side of the Compact Road.Palau had been experiencing heavy rains for the past several days through the weekend.The bad weather was caused by a monsoon trough, the National Weather Service’ report stated.The Weather Service Office stated that a monsoon trough is circulating from southeastward to west of Guam.Palau will be experiencing scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms through Sunday and Tuesday next week.High surf advisory remains in effect.
