Car set on fire

The incident was reported to the police at 3:43 a.m. yesterday.Acting Patrol Division Chief Peter Napoleon said that police and fire truck responded to the scene where a car was reportedly burning at Ngermid, next to DIL T store.The fire personnel put out the fire later.Investigation disclosed that the burgundy Vanette Van belonging to Discovery Tour Agency driven by one of the employee, was parked in front of the house rented by the employee when it was set ablazed.Napoleon said the vehicle had extensive damage in the exterior and at the front dust board of the van including both front seats.Back seat of the van was also on fire but had a slight damage.Napoleon said the case is still under investigation.
