(Commonwealth Healthcare Corp.) — As of Feb. 20, 2022, there were 12 individuals hospitalized as a result of Covid-19:
Six were unvaccinated, five were vaccinated, and one was partially vaccinated.
One of 12 was on a ventilator.
222 additional individuals have been confirmed positive for Covid-19, bringing the CNMI total to 8,644 cases since March 26, 2020, CHCC reported on Sunday evening.
Of the 222 cases identified:
119 were identified on Feb. 19, 2022, and 103 prior to Feb. 18, 2022.
Two were identified on Tinian.
There were no Covid-19 vaccinations on Feb. 20, 2022.
The vaccination statuses of the 222 new cases identified are pending verification.
A total of 360 Covid-19 tests were conducted on Feb. 19, 2022:
222 via Community-Based Testing;
87 at Koblerville Covid-19 Community Center;
7 at Tinian Health Center; and
44 at the Rota Health Center.

Of the total cases identified as of Feb. 19, 2022, there were 6,995 recoveries and 1,623 active cases.
Of the cases, 8,020 were identified via community testing and 624 through travel testing.
There have been 26 Covid-19-related deaths in the CNMI since March 2020.
