CHCC outreach team to assist with Covid-19 information

(CHCC) — The Commonwealth Healthcare Corp. is launching a personalized door-to-door outreach to assist people who speak English as their second language and may need extra help accessing information about Covid-19 vaccination, testing, or registration process. This effort will ensure every individual who wants a Covid-19 vaccination or test is able to get one. The outreach team will begin visiting homes on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021.

Covid-19 vaccination is a safe and effective way to build protection against Covid-19. All CNMI residents 5 years and older are eligible for vaccinations, and the CHCC is strongly encouraging everyone to take advantage of this.

Covid-19 testing is also available for residents on Saipan, Tinian, and Rota. People who think they might be exposed should get tested, especially if they are unvaccinated. To register for community- based testing on Saipan, visit  https://covidtesting.chcc.health

For Tinian and Rota residents, contact your respective health centers to register for Covid-19 testing from Monday to Saturday.

If you are experiencing symptoms, see a healthcare provider right away for testing. CHCC encourages people waiting for testing or results to please limit social interactions with others and practice the 3 W’s: wear a mask, wash your hands, and watch your distance.

For more information about CHCC programs, follow @cnmichcc on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter; visit  www.chcc.gov.mp; or call 234-8950.

The CHCC Covid-19 operations outreach team will be knocking door to door to assist residents with any Covid-19 operation, whether it's testing, vaccination, or the registration process.
