BPS Director Norvert H. Yano said that Bryne Jones, a retired Federal police from Australia commended the investigators of the Doktok’s case when he first came here in Palau to assess the forensic training in July.
Jones was here when the investigators started investigating the assault incident of Doktok.Yano said Jones also went to the crime scene and observed while investigators from the Criminal Investigation Division conducted their investigation.“He commended the investigators for doing a good job in managing the crime scene. He likes the way the investigators managed and preserved the crime scene,”Yano said.Yano said crime scene management is very important and vital in investigating a crime scene.The case has been solved and the suspect was already arrested and is now been charged.Jones had 25 years of experience as a police officer of Australian Police and two years as a forensic adviser.
