Northern Marianas College will usher a new era on its new campus when it breaks ground today, Thursday, for its flagship building — the NMC Student Center. The image depicts the view of the center’s south facade. Located on Terlaje Hill, the three-story center will have 45,000 square feet of enclosed space to house a double-height, multi-purpose hall, a student services office, a dining area, a library, a bookstore, and other offices. The NMC Student Center is funded by the U.S. Department of Education and the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Supplemental funds were provided by the U.S. Office of Insular Affairs.
