(Special Advertising Feature) — Pure Love Daycare celebrated its 25th anniversary on Aug. 9 at Pure Love Daycare 3/Green Meadow School Campus in Chalan Kanoa, marking a major milestone in its journey of caring for and educating young children. The celebration was led by the center’s founders, Saturnino Songcuan and Milagros Songcuan, together with staff, students, families, and friends who have been part of its story over the years.
The event kicked off with a lively neighborhood parade, bringing together students, parents, alumni, and guests. The fun continued with student performances featuring songs, dances, and creative artworks that expressed heartfelt messages of gratitude and love for the center.
One of the highlights of the day was the recognition of long-time families and staff, both past and present, who have supported the institution through the years. Their commitment and connection to the school were honored with warm appreciation.
In their remarks, Milagros Songcuan and Glenn Songcuan shared words of thanks with everyone who has been part of the Pure Love Daycare community. Mrs. Songcuan said she was truly touched to see so many familiar faces — former teachers, parents, and students — return to celebrate. She reflected on the center’s early days in a small house in Finasisu near Northern Marianas College, and how much it has grown despite many challenges.
From those humble beginnings, Pure Love has now expanded to three locations — Chalan Kiya, Gualo Rai, and the newest site in Chalan Kanoa, which is also home to Green Meadow School.
The celebration also served as the finale of Green Meadow School’s Summer Camp, showcasing the fun and learning that took place over the break.
As Pure Love Daycare celebrates 25 wonderful years, the center looks forward to continuing its mission of providing a safe, loving, and inspiring place for children to grow and learn.
