Sweet local pineapples are sold at the Public Coop Market in Garapan, where Karen Tagabuel displays them at $2 per pound. Tagabuel says the pineapples are sweet when they ripen: the outside skin turns yellow. Public Coop Market is on the ocean side of Beach Road across from Horiguchi Building in Garapan.
