(SCC) — The spirit of giving has officially arrived in the Marianas as the 2025 Toys for Tots Campaign launches this holiday season. The campaign was officially announced during the Saipan Chamber of Commerce’s October General Membership Meeting on Oct. 1 and will run through Dec. 10, 2025, collecting toys for children across Saipan, Tinian, and Rota.
This year’s campaign ushers in a new era of collaboration with a strengthened partnership between the Saipan Chamber of Commerce and the Commonwealth Bureau of Military Affairs, who will serve as the 2025 Campaign Host.
“We are honored to join forces in this meaningful effort for our island youth,” said Kimm Camacho, executive director of the Saipan Chamber of Commerce. “In times when many families are faced with economic challenges, the unity between our public and private sectors shines stronger than ever. Toys for Tots represents hope, and hope is something every child deserves.”
The 2025 campaign also welcomes new partners, including the Marianas Alliance of Non-Governmental Organizations and Project Buddy Check 670, who join long-time supporters in expanding the reach and impact of this cherished community tradition.
Now a beloved holiday initiative in the Marianas, Toys for Tots continues to grow each year in generosity and community participation. In 2024, more than 4,200 toys, books, and stocking stuffers were collected and distributed to children in need throughout the CNMI, thanks to the support of local businesses, community groups, and generous families.
“This campaign is about more than presents under the tree,” Camacho added. “Each toy represents kindness, connection, and the belief that every child in the Marianas deserves to feel joy during the holidays.”
The Saipan Chamber of Commerce invites businesses, organizations, and individuals to be part of this year’s holiday mission. You can help by:
• Hosting a Toys for Tots collection box at your business, office, or campus
• Donating new, unwrapped toys, books, or games
• Organizing or sponsoring a community toy drive
• Making monetary contributions to support toy purchases
