(Marianas Alliance of Non-Governmental Organizations) — MANGO is pleased to announce a series of January workshops designed to support nonprofit organizations at every stage of development — from those just starting out to established organizations seeking to strengthen their systems and impact.
These free, in-person sessions are open to nonprofit leaders, staff, board members, and community members interested in nonprofit work. Each workshop offers practical guidance, hands-on learning, and opportunities to build capacity within the local nonprofit sector.
Upcoming workshops
• What is a Nonprofit?
January 21 | 9–11 a.m. | MANGO Resource Room
This introductory session explores the purpose, structure, and responsibilities of nonprofit organizations. It is ideal for individuals new to nonprofit work or early-stage organizations seeking a foundational understanding of the sector.
• Nonprofit Toolkit
Jan. 23 | 9 a.m.–12 noon | MANGO Resource Room
A hands-on workshop covering essential steps and resources for building and managing a successful nonprofit. Topics include incorporation basics, required documents, board roles, strategic planning, and community project development.
• Data Management for Nonprofits
Jan. 29 | 9 a.m.–11 a.m. | MANGO Resource Room
Participants will gain a clear understanding of what “data” means in nonprofit work, how data tells an organization’s story, and how it strengthens funding opportunities. The session will also cover identifying existing data, connecting it to the MANGO Member Data Portal, and linking activities to the Sustainable Development Goals to enhance impact reporting.
