Rownel Jody Coloma has been selected as the lead facilitator for the 2025 National 4-H Conference. A 2024 graduate of the Northern Marianas College, Coloma will play a key role in shaping the conference’s curriculum, guiding sessions, mentoring the next generation of leaders, and fostering a dynamic learning environment that will elevate the impact of 4-H nationwide. Coloma has served as a member of 4-H Marianas from August 2021 to June 2023, and was the State Council president from August 2022 to June 2023, representing the CNMI, providing guidance and support to council members, overseeing program development, managing budgets, and fostering collaboration with state and island advisors. Additionally, Coloma spent his term advocating for the youth, mentoring council members, cultivating relationships with adult mentors, and working to secure resources to enhance youth programs, ensuring opportunities for personal growth and community engagement. His selection as lead facilitator is a significant achievement that recognizes Coloma’s leadership and dedication to youth development. 4-H Marianas is a non-profit organization that aims to provide the youth with the knowledge and skills necessary to grow as leaders and become self-directing, productive, and contributing members of the community.
