This week, Northern Marianas College is hosting a historic meeting of college trustees/regents and presidents from the Micronesian region, including Guam Community College, College of the Marshall Islands, College of Micronesia-FSM and Palau Community College as they formalize their collaborative efforts. The trustees are also participating in the Pacific Islands Governance Leadership Institute training led by the Association of Community College Trustees. The institute is a governance-development and educational program for trustees and CEOs of community colleges nationwide. The presidents of American Samoa Community College and the University of Guam will also join the meeting of college presidents who are part of the Pacific Postsecondary Education Council that will be held this Saturday.
