IT&E crews were immediately dispatched to the scene to repair the damaged cables that delivered services to a few hundred customers.
IT&E technicians were able to repair the cable and swiftly bring services back up in order minimize the inconvenience and impact to its customers.
IT&E would like to remind all contractors to please call 611 prior to any excavation work so a technician can be present to identify buried cables. Also note, there are roadside signs that warn contractors where the buried cables are.
