Gov. Arnold I. Palacios and Lt. Gov. David M. Apatang recently proclaimed July 16, 2024 as “CNMI Rural Transit Day.” They were joined by Special Assistant for Transportation Alfreda Camacho Maratita and CNMI Office of Transit Authority personnel. Governor Palacios highlighted the vital role of transit systems in connecting communities, boosting the economy, and improving quality of life while Lt. Governor Apatang praised the COTA team for their work and the positive community feedback.
