(Liberation Day Committee) — The CNMI’s longest-running newspaper has signed on as a Platinum Sponsor for the 79th Liberation Day Festivities, contributing $10,000 in in-kind support to help power the biggest community celebration of the year.
As a trusted voice in the Marianas for decades, Variety has been deeply involved in the festivities each year. “The festivities commemorate a significant moment in our history, honoring the courage and sacrifices of those who fought to liberate our islands and preserve our way of life,” Marianas Variety President Amier C. Younis said. “We’re all very excited to once again be part of the celebrations.”
The Liberation Day Committee would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to Marianas Variety for its generous support and enduring dedication to the CNMI community.
Festivities are currently ongoing and will run until July 6 at the Civic Center in Susupe, every Thursdays to Sundays. The celebration promises a line-up of nightly entertainment, food vendors, amusement, carnival games, and the highly anticipated 4th of July Parade.
