NMC graduate achieves Dean’s List honors at University of Cincinnati

FOR her outstanding academic achievement during the fall 2024 semester, Northern Marianas College graduate Pearl Lauritzen has earned a spot on the University of Cincinnati’s College of Nursing Dean’s List

Students qualifying for this distinction must have completed a minimum of 6 credit hours with a grade point average of 3.4 – 4.0 for the semester. Lauritzen met this high standard of academic performance with a term grade point average of 4.0.

“Being placed on the Dean’s list indicated that you strive to be the best, are dedicated to attaining your academic goals, and are committed to be a student nurse leader. This recognition will be noted on your academic transcript and will become a permanent part of your official academic record at the University of Cincinnati,” said Alicia K. Ribar, PhD, APRN, FNP-BC, CNE, dean and Schmidlapp Professor of Nursing, in a letter to Lauritzen.

“I encourage you to continue working hard. If you do so, you will attain the goal of graduating from the University of Cincinnati’s College of Nursing among the top of your class,” Ribar added.

“On behalf of the faculty and staff of the University of Cincinnati’s College of Nursing, I congratulate you on this outstanding achievement!” Ribar said.
