(NMTech) — For the fourth consecutive year, a special Thanksgiving meal has been provided to women and children sheltered at Guma Esperansa, under Karidat Social Services, a local organization dedicated to supporting those who have experienced domestic violence.

The Thanksgiving meal was prepared for the residents of the shelter, offering comfort and a sense of community during this holiday season.

This was made possible through the generous collaboration of Northern Marianas Technical Institute’s Culinary Arts students and instructors, as well as CNMI legislators.

NMTech students prepared hams, turkeys, stuffing, gravy, and cranberry sauce, as well as pumpkin pies and cookies.

As the tradition continues to grow each year, it serves as a reminder of the strength and compassion that defines our community.

NMTech would like to thank the students and instructors under the Culinary Arts Program, Speaker Edmund S. Villagomez, Vice Speaker Joel Camacho, and Reps. Blas Jonathan “BJ” Attao, and Ralph Yumul for their unwavering support as NMTech continues to make this annual donation a success.
