The Saipan Humane Society is the recipient of the funds raised by the Pacific Islands Club’s Hafa Adai 5K color run.
(PIC) — Thanks to its fundraising Hafa Adai 5K color run, the Pacific Islands Club is thrilled to announce that is has made a donation to the Saipan Humane Society to support its animal care efforts. PIC’s donation will help provide essential resources and services to animals in need, including food, shelter, medical care, and love. By supporting the Saipan Humane Society, PIC is helping to make a positive impact on the lives of animals in the community while promoting a culture of compassion and kindness.
“We often find…that a pet can do more than keep us company,” PIC General Manager Dennis Seo said. “Some individuals see their pets as lifelong companions and integral members of the family. Pets may improve health and reduce stress of us and even help children develop emotional and social skills. The reason why we chose Saipan Humane Society as a beneficiary of funds that we generated through the 2024 Hafa Adai 5K, is to support all pet-lovers in the community by finding a way to protect all animals. Our donation may not be big, but I hope it can be used to enhance the quality of life of animals by assisting with animal supplies, medical equipment, and supporting animal welfare-related projects that are initiated by the Saipan Humane Society.”
He added, “Our donation to the Saipan Humane Society is a testament to our commitment to giving back to our community and supporting important causes. We believe that animals bring joy and love into our lives, and it is our responsibility to care for them and ensure their well-being. We are proud to support the Saipan Humane Society’s mission. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of animals and create a more compassionate world.”
