The Public School System Distinguished Service Recognition Award was presented to retiring PSS employee Bernardita “Bernie” Deleon Guerrero Calvo by Commissioner of Education Dr. Lawrence F. Camacho and PSS Federal Programs Officer Jacqueline Che at a ceremony on Thursday. Calvo worked for the PSS Federal Programs Office for 30 years, from June 1, 1994 to May 29, 2024. PSS commended her for her “high moral and ethical work standards,” as well as her “trustworthiness and reliability.” Happy retirement Bernie!
