Recognizing local healthcare heroes: Annie Trusso and Sinj Lee

The Office of Delegate Kimberlyn King-Hinds recently shone a light on two remarkable healthcare professionals from the CNMI: Annie Trusso and Seung Gin Lee (known as Sinj), who were featured in a USF Health publication by the University of South Florida.

Annie, a Pain Management Fellow with USF, and Sinj, a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist and U.S. Army veteran, are transforming healthcare in our islands.

Annie returned home to serve as the CNMI’s only pain management provider, ensuring residents can receive critical care without leaving the islands.

Inspired by Annie’s work and his deep community roots, Sinj is now following in her footsteps through the same fellowship program.

“Their dedication and service reflect the very best of who we are in the CNMI—people who go out into the world, gain knowledge, and bring it home to uplift our community. We are so grateful for their service,” Delegate King-Hinds said. (PR)
