(SCC) — The Saipan Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce our upcoming August general membership meeting scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2024, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Charley’s Room, Pacific Islands Club.
This meeting will feature updates from our committee chairs who will present updates on recent activities, plans, and initiatives. Along with a special presentation by our SCC board of directors who will share updates from a recent trip for the Mariana Islands Legislature Association’s 2nd General Assembly. Some concepts include Open Skies, Marianas Worker Visas, and the Marianas Regional Commission.
Lastly, join us as we conduct our annual scholarship awarding ceremony to the selected young individuals to assist them in pursuing higher education with Northern Marianas College and/or the Northern Marianas Technical Institute.
We would like to give a huge shout out to our chamber membership, without your contributions and support, this program would not be made available to our youth, Thank you members!
As a friendly reminder, our meeting rates are as follows: chamber member, $35 and future chamber member, $40. We hope to see you there!
