THE Lions Clubs International, Region 2 District 204 donated a powered wheelchair to the Maturana House of Prayer on Oct. 31, 2023.
The Lions had learned that the Maturana sisters were looking for funding to purchase a powered wheelchair for Sister MaryAnn Hartman, MMB.
The Lions did not hesitate to make a donation knowing how difficult it is to move around without any assistance.
The Lions are grateful for the opportunity to lend a helping hand to the Maturana sisters.
The Lions’ Region 2, District 204 is composed of 12 clubs that are autonomous in their projects, activities, and fundraising. But the 12 clubs can work as one region.
