Special advertising feature | KFC’s ‘YUM! HeartComm’ initiative a big success

“The feeding program that was held on Nov. 16 was part of the YUM! HeartComm initiative in collaboration with our team to deliver food to our chosen beneficiary,” she said.

“It was one of the YUM!’s final events of the year and we are very proud to be a part of it. It is likely to be the world’s largest YUM! cross-brand CSR (corporate social responsibility) food delivery. The goal of this program is to support and recognize the efforts of the frontline workers in our community during this challenging time as they continue to selflessly work around the clock to provide care and protection to our community,” she added.

“From all of us at KFC and Taco Bell Saipan — thank you so much frontline workers for your bravery, sacrifices, and your unflagging compassion. A big, big thank you to all of you.”

Aldan and her staff personally delivered boxes of chicken meals to the Commonwealth Healthcare Corp. administration office for nurses and other healthcare personnel.

CHCC Chief Executive Esther Muna thanked KFC Saipan on behalf of the CHCC staff, noting that it was the second time that KFC Saipan donated food to the Covid-19 front liners.

Muna said those who delivered food to front liners are also among the islands’ essential workforce. “They have been essential, especially during the early days of the pandemic. They have always been supporting us so I really appreciate them,” she added.
