Training focuses on building communication skills for workplace

(SCC) — The clock is ticking! With just three days remaining, the Saipan Chamber of Commerce  invites professionals, managers, and team members to its 3rd Quarter Professional Development Training:

“Effective Communication in the Workplace”

 Friday, July 25

 Northern Marianas College, Room K-1/K-2

 Choose from: Morning (9 a.m.–12 noon) or Afternoon (1 p.m.–4 p.m.)

Presented in partnership with NMC’s Community Development Institute, this timely training addresses one of the most powerful tools in professional success: the ability to communicate clearly, confidently, and effectively.

The session goes beyond just “talking at work.” Participants will gain practical tools to:

• Improve active listening —understanding before responding

• Deliver clear, concise messages that reduce confusion

• Adapt communication styles to different personalities and work environments

• Give and receive feedback constructively

• Navigate difficult conversations and manage conflict with professionalism

• Use digital tools (email, chat, virtual meetings) effectively without losing human connection

Whether you’re leading a team, supporting customers, or collaborating with peers, effective communication enhances trust, productivity, and morale — and this training helps you build that foundation.

This workshop is ideal for:

• Entry-level professionals building communication confidence

• Supervisors and managers strengthening team dynamics

• Business owners improving internal and external communication

• Anyone looking to become a better speaker, listener, or collaborator
