Dr. Melissa Salgado
(SHS) — Saipan Humane Society is excited to announce a special event in partnership with Banfield Foundation and Mars Veterinary Health. This clinic, with travel sponsored by Mars Ambassadors Program, will provide a critical care veterinarian and technician to our community from Sept. 23 through Oct. 4. They will be providing essential clinical services, including sick consultations and emergency care for pets in need.
These MAP (Mars Ambassador Program) participants are veterinary professionals who travel to underserved areas to provide medical care, strengthen local capacity, and support animal welfare initiatives. Mars Veterinary Health sponsors the travel and work costs of their visiting staff to ensure pets and their communities have access to high-quality veterinary care, regardless of location or local resources. This event represents a unique opportunity for the community to access specialized veterinary services.
