The Senate will continue the confirmation hearings next week, according to the Senate Clerk.
PRESIDENT Johnson Toribiong appointed former Vice President Sandra Pierantozzi as his State Minister.Toribiong earlier named appointees that will comprise his Cabinet. The appointees were ; Johnny Gibbons, former Koror Governor is named Minister of Justice; Peleliu Governor Jackson Ngiraingas is Minister of Public Infrastructure, Industries and Commerce; Dr. Stevenson Kuartei as Health Minister; Masa-Aki Emesiochl, Education Minister; Scott Yano as Minister of Community and Cultural Affairs; and Youlsau Bells as Minister of Natural Resources, Environment and Tourism. The other appointees needing confirmation is Special Prosecutor nominee Michael Copeland and Compact negotiator Joshua Koshiba.
