The Aydlett brothers with friends and supporters of Tower of Humanity last August 26, 2023 at Agana Shopping Center.
Agana Shopping Center is once again a hub of activity as Day 2 of the Tower for Humanity project gets underway. Landon Aydlett reported that Day 1 has yielded the following results: Combined Height: 7.3 FT. Target: 38 fT. Total Blocks: 17,973
On this day, the call goes out for everyone to stand in solidarity with the “Sponsor a Log” campaign by BeHeartfelt. This heartfelt effort is designed to create tangible impact in the lives of those facing challenges. Through contributions of canned food items, individuals are not only contributing to the construction of the towering structure but also extending a helping hand to community members in need.
Participation is straightforward. Interested parties are invited to visit the Tower for Humanity area, where they can make their canned food donations. Each donation serves as a symbolic sponsorship of a log for the Tower for Humanity’s construction. Every act of support, no matter the scale, plays a significant role in driving the success of this purpose-driven endeavor.
The Tower for Humanity project itself stands as a testament to unity and communal spirit. It pays homage to Guam’s First Responders and Military, symbolizing resilience and shared strength. Beyond its physical form, the tower embodies the power that emerges when individuals and groups collaborate for a common cause.
To participate in the Food Drive and Canstruction Competition, please contact Lori Marble for details and to get placed on the competition list. Food Drive drop boxes will be available, by request, for your organization. Drop Boxes for donations will also be available onsite at the Tower for Humanity in the ASC Center Court during tower construction from August 26 to September 4.
Collectively, the community possesses the power to drive change. Join in today and become an integral part of this meaningful endeavor.
