State government officials, Ngchesar community leaders, teachers, proud parents and all who came to congratulate their children, were witnesses to a rare event for Ngchesar School, where for the first time in the history of their school, a sitting Ngchesar State Delegate to the Olbiil Era Kelulau graced such an occasion with his attendance.
Delegate Secilil Eldebechel, an alumnus of Nghcesar Elementary School himself, was invited by Principal Wilherm Rechelluul to give the Special Remarks for the event. In his remarks he emphasized to the students, ‘the need to continue studying hard and face new challenges in school.’ He also shared his personal experiences while in school and how ‘it is normal to feel pressured at times and you should make the necessary adjustments to overcome hardships.’ Delegate Eldebechel was able to deliver an awe inspiring speech and all who attended the Ngchesar Promotion Day came out with a lasting impression of their freshman representative to the OEK with his sincere willingness to play an important role in their lives and the lives of their children. One attendee says, ‘the simple fact that of all the graduations and promotion days in the past many years, delegate Eldebechel is the first Ngchesar Delegate to attend these ceremonies goes to show how much he cares about the development of our children. For that I truly thank him for being a good role model for our kids.’Ngchesar students who received certificates of promotion are Kateleen Ucherchewar, Keana Brynn Noah (Valedictorian), Kiyolah Allen, Belechel Wilhlem Jr., Ngesmus Mika Bultedaob, Ingeang Ngitong and Jadell Eberdil Camacho. The Ngchesar Promotion Day was also a farewell party for Teacher Alfonsa Ngiramengior who is retiring as a teacher after more than thirty years of devoted service to the children of her state.
