Delegate Basilius expressed his concern to Ms. Ueda about lack of treated water to the Dispensary and the importance of having treated water for the patients and attending nurse to utilize during their visits to the Dispensary for medical treatment. Legislator Siangeldeb Mr. Elechuus, and Ms. Semdium, a visiting clinic client, echoed the same concern about lack of treated water to the Dispensary and hope that some day soon, treated water from the water tank at Techobei can be connected to the Dispensary.
Ms. Ueda of Japan Embassy accepted the GGP Application Form, explained the reviewing process and indicated that she will continue working with all persons concerned with the project during the evaluation process. The application will be reviewed locally and forwarded to Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs for final approval.Grassroots Grant Program is designed for NGOs and local state government to apply directly to Japan Embassy for assistance on matters relating to Human Health and Security Programs.
