DOGS Molly and Maggie enjoyed about 10 years of fun, love and care with their owners, Dave Bucher and wife Helen Ann.
But because the Buchers are retiring as teachers and are set to leave the island soon, Molly and Maggie are looking for new homes to cheer up and spend the rest of their lives.
Dave Bucher said the dogs had their shots when they got them several years ago. He said they are warm animals, loving and are well taken care of.
Both are females and have been spayed, he added.
“We are needing a new home for them as we are retiring from the Public School System and leaving island,” Dave Bucher said.
The Buchers have spent 21 years on Saipan and served as volunteer missionaries for the Church of the Nazarene while teaching in the Public School System.
Prior to moving to Saipan, Dave Bucher was the pastor of churches in Texas and Oklahoma while Helen Ann Bucher was involved in Sunday school and children’s ministries.
They will be moving back to Oklahoma to spend time with their grandchildren and other loved ones.
