(Office of the Governor) — Gov. Ralph DLG Torres on Tuesday issued the following memorandum to all department and activity heads and employees:
“Tuesday, November 8, 2022 is Election Day and thus a legal holiday in the Commonwealth. See 1 CMC § 6508. Accordingly, all non-essential government workers are granted holiday leave on Tuesday, November 8, 2022.
“I encourage everyone to go out and exercise your right to vote in this upcoming election.”
