Forensic expert examines Doktok’s crime scene

Vice President Elias Camsek Chin in an interview yesterday said that the forensic officer conducted an investigation at the crime scene last week but he has not been brief yet of the result of the investigation.“ There was a forensic investigation last week, the officer examined the crime scene but I don’t have the details yet of the examination. I’m going to meet the investigators this week for the briefing,”Chin said.The Vice President who is also the Minister of Justice said that they took advantage of the presence of the forensic officer.“He came here for a training and we took advantage of that situation. We asked him to examine the crime scene because it would be a big help to our investigators to solve the case,”he said.Chin said Doktok is now slowly recovering at home. He was released from the hospital a few days ago.Chin said said Doktok’s memory is not yet in good condition so they are taking all necessary precautions in investigating the case.Chin also asked the public to call BPS or Crime Stoppers if they know anything about the incident to help the police solve the incident.“A police officer was brutally attacked by an unknown assailant and we are asking the public, anyone who has information of this incident to call us and give us information or they can call the police or the crime stoppers. Let us work together to solve this case,”he said.Crime Stoppers hotline is 4888477. No caller ID is being used and a reward of up to $1,000 is given to any information leading to an arrest.
