ON Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022 at 10 a.m., in association with Domestic Violence Awareness Month and The Northern Marianas Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence, a self-defense clinic will be held at the Tech Trench Purebred Saipan Gym in Garapan, Saipan, with the intent to raise public education and awareness on domestic violence, including the promotion of health, wellness, and fitness in the CNMI.
A free self-defense seminar for the general public will be facilitated by the Fit to Lead Ambassador Frank “The Crank” Camacho. A former Ultimate Fighting Championships competitor and an experienced Mixed Martial Arts expert, Frank will show techniques and concepts to women, men, and children of the CNMI. They will learn basic self-defense techniques to protect themselves from all types if violence, including domestic violence. This event is open to all ages and will be a fun, family friendly workshop.
We encourage participants to bring a partner or family member(s) to the free self-defense seminar. We encourage participants to dress lightly and bring water for moderate physical activity.

An accident waiver & release of liability form will be available on-site and must be signed by each agreeing participant. Minors will need parent/guardian consent and waiver.
