The distribution will be held from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. or while supplies last at the restaurant on Beach Road in Garapan.
No registration is required, the restaurant management said.
“The holiday season is a magical time of love and joy for many of us. However, we must not forget that there are still those who are suffering due to the social and economic conditions caused by the Covic-19 pandemic,” the restaurant management added.
Majesty Restaurant has been serving hot meals and giving out relief bags every Sunday morning for four months now. This is part of its Full Belly, Full Hearts 1,000 Meals Initiative with support from Micronesian Brokers Inc. and Marianas Medical Center.
The restaurant staff and volunteers are once again “stepping up to help those in need during these difficult times.”
Since the Labor Day weekend, the restaurant and its partners have distributed 800 meals and relief bags.
“Our goal is to help the unemployed, reduced hours, low-income, homeless people impacted by Covid-19. We saw firsthand the severe and painful financial impact on the tourism and restaurant industry,” the management said.
Majesty is urging people who are jobless, have low-income, hungry or homeless to visit the restaurant on Sunday at 4 p.m.
The restaurant will prepare 150 meals and will continue to accept donations of fruits, desserts and pastries. For more information, email FoodBox.Majesty@gmail.com
Majesty Restaurant was established in 2013. Its parent company, Top Development Inc., has been doing business in the CNMI for 30 years now.
